IILM University organizes Lawyers’ Conference

JAMMU, Apr 3: A Lawyers’ Conference on ‘Teaching and Experiential Learning in Law’ was organized by IILM University at its Greater Noida Campus.
The Conference brought distinguished legal professionals, judges, scholars and passionate law students together who extensively brainstormed and shared their experiences and opinions in designing the latest teaching methodologies and bridging the existing gap in education delivery and expected learning outcomes.
The legal experts talked on evaluation of existing legal education system and the need of its upgrading.
They also threw light on specialized features required by futuristic legal education.
The concluding session focused on challenges before the institutions, universities and industry.
The Lawyers’ Conference was in line with the objectives of National Education Policy-2020.
Nar Hari Singh, Senior Central Government Counsel, Ex-Additional Advocate General & Prominent Advocate on Record, Supreme Court of India also participated in the Conference and shared his views regarding New Education Policy.
Appreciating the New Education Policy brought in by the government Singh stressed upon experimental and practical learning rather than only academic learning.
