JAMMU, Apr 3: Choudhary Amjad Khatana, younger brother of former Vice Chairman, Gujjar Bakerwal Board, Choudhary Zafar Khatana breathed his last after a brief illness at Ludhiana yesterday. He was 59.
He was buried at his hometown Daksum Bidihad in Kokernag tehsil of Anantnag district today. A large number of people including leaders from Congress, NC and BJP participated in his funeral procession.
He was the son of former Minister, Animal Husbandry and veteran Gujjar leader, Ch Mohammed Shafi Khatana and son in law of former Minister and ex president of PCC, Choudhary Mohammed Aslam.
