SAMBA, Apr 3: A 35 year old women died after she fell down from a running train at Salmeri Fatak in Vijaypur area of Samba district yesterday evening, officials said.
The unidentified woman fell down from Jammu Mail Express on the Railway track near Vijaypur, the Government Railway Police (GRP) official said, adding that the woman died on the spot.
He said the body was shifted to the Government Medical College Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for post-mortem and identification.
The inquest proceedings have been initiated at the GRP Post in Vijaypur, the official added.
