POONCH, Apr 4: Former Minister and BJP National Executive Member, Priya Sethi, after two days tour to districts Poonch and Rajouri asserted that it is only BJP, which has the will and conviction to provide fair deal to the rural belt of J&K as other parties never bothered about the aspirations and needs of the people living in vast rural stretches of the UT.
Former minister was accompanied by district president, Nowshera, Neena Sharma, district president, Poonch, Rajesh Raina, district president, Rajouri, Dinesh Sharma, Lok Sabha Prabha, Jugal Dogra , BJP leaders, Rajender Gupta, Sunil Gupta and others.
Priya Sethi addressed series of meetings in Nowshera, Rajouri and Poonch in context with Booth Sashaktikaran.
Asking the party cadre to strengthen booths, Priya said that strong booths are the key to the party’s exemplary performance in the elections.
She added that the party will only be strengthened when the organization will be strong at booth level. “During Booth Sashaktikaran Abhiyan party leaders will fortify its base by visiting every house in the region’’, she added.
Priya asked the party members to ensure that programmes related to celebration of Samajik Naya Saaptaah – which will begin from the party’s Foundation Day on April 6 – be implemented at the booth level.
This will culminate with programmes to be organised at the district and divisional levels on the birth anniversary of  Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar on April 14.
She said that unlike the other political parties which become active only during poll days, BJP always marks its presence on ground with its workers remaining active all the time resolving the issues and problems which the people confront in day to day life.
She said that BJP, is always on toes to help the common people while NC, PDP and Congress, prefer to go into hibernation during normal days and only come to the fore during the elections. “It is known to one and all that BJP is a proactive outfit and therefore its activists need not to do special homework to reach out to people especially those living in rural hamlets but elections are so unpredictable that party cannot take chances and therefore every worker should enthuse all his energy to ensure that message of party reaches out to everywhere and party comes out with flying colours in all the ensuing elections”, she said.
