POONCH, Apr 4: A protest was staged by people in Dara Sangla area of Bafliaz against administration as it failed to reopen the road which is blocked due to a landslide for the last several weeks.
The connectivity to thousands of household in the area has been snapped due to closure of road while public is suffering badly. The administration is not paying any attention towards this issue. The road leading to Sangla is in worst condition as there are large potholes.
Locals alleged that the commuters face inconvenience and the problems grow during inclement weather conditions. During rains, the dilapidated road turn into cesspool. When water remains stagnant for a long time it further damages road. Locals appealed to the LG to direct concerned authorities to clear the landslide and also make the road feasible for common people.
