JAMMU, Apr 4: Police claimed today that they have arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 6.5 grams of heroin from their possession.
They said Navdeep Singh and Sahil Kumar, both residents of Ward Number 58, Dashmesh Nagar, Jammu, were arrested during routine naka checking at Seohora Bridge, Jammu.
“The accused have been booked in case FIR number 47/2023 under sections 8/21/22/29 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Gangyal and further investigation taken up,” said police.
The arrest and seizure was made by a team of Police Station Gangyal led by SDPO South Sachit Sharma assisted by SHO concerned Inspector Ajaz Haider.
