JAMMU, Apr 5: In a sudden development, Government of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory today deferred its earlier order of restructuring of Public Works (R&B) Department.
The restructuring of the Public Works (R&B) Department by way of re-organisation of cadre and rationalization of jurisdiction(s) was earlier ordered by the J&K Government on January 6, 2023.
However, according to an order, issued today by the General Administration Department, the re-organization/restructuring of Public Works (R&B) Department has been deferred till further orders.
No reason has been given behind deferment of the earlier order on re-organization.
