Runner-up of Indian Idol Chirag stresses on hard work to see dreams come true

JAMMU, Apr 6: The runner up of Indian Idol, Chirag Kotwal today received a warm welcome by the people of Talab Tillo area here who were led by senior BJP leader, Sanjay Baru.
Speaking on the occasion Kotwal thanked the people of J&K for supporting and encouraging him and informed that his journey to the stage of Indian Idol started from an audition after which he left Bhaderwah with a dream to give some direction to his singing talent.
“I never thought that I will reach to such a level as there was nervousness in me when I faced the judges but with time I found the stage supporting me and it gave me love of the people after which the things became easy and ultimately fetched me with runner up trophy,” he said.
Chirag Kotwal informed that he started singing right from his childhood and appeared in many auditions but could not made it but ultimately his hard work bore fruits and he reached the stage of Indian Idol.
He also said that it was very tough to sing before the celebrities who have sung those songs originally and one has to really sing good at such a place.
“My parents remained my mentors and from the stage of Indian Idol I told the people about Bhadarwah, its popular Rajmah, unique culture and beauty,” he maintained adding: “One has to really work very hard and remain consistent in following ones passion to achieve the target and parents should also support their children in their dreams.”
