RAMBAN, Apr 6: Police here today recovered 14 bottles of J&K Special Whiskey 750 ml each and arrested a man in this regard.
Inspector Manoj Kumar Sharma, SHO Police Station Dharamkund along with police party while on patrolling and traffic checking duty arrested one Abdul Qayoom, son of Abdul Razak, resident of Kantha Morh, Gool in District Ramban with 14 bottles of JK Special Whisky (DMB – 4 bottles, Oakland – 10 bottles) 750 ml each.
In this regard an FIR with No. 14/2023 U/S 48(a) Excise Act was registered at Police Station Dharamkund and investigation was entrusted to PSI Kanwaljit Singh.
The recovery was made by Inspector Manoj Kumar Sharma, SHO Dharamkund under the supervision of Nihar Ranjan, SDPO Gool under the overall supervision of SP Ramban, Mohita Sharma.
