UDHAMPUR, Apr 6: Police today arrested a notorious drug peddler from Circular Road Udhampur and seized a small quantity of heroin from his possession.
Reports said that during patrolling at the Circular Road, a Police party of Police Station Udhampur, headed by SHO Raghubir Singh, apprehended Rakesh Kumar alias Raku, son of Neik Ram, resident of Sallian Talab Udhampur, who is a history sheeter and already booked under PSA.
During his personal search, six grams of heroin like banned narcotic substance was recovered from his possession.
In this connection, a case FIR number 178/2023, under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act was registered in PS Udhampur.
