95 test +ve for COVID in J&K

JAMMU, Apr 7: A total of 95 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported today in Jammu and Kashmir, 38 from Jammu Division and 57 from Kashmir valley.
According to the reports, highest number of 24 cases were reported from Jammu district, followed by 17 from Srinagar, 11 from Kulgam, 6 from Ganderbal, 5 cases each from Baramulla and Budgam districts, 4 each from Kupwara and Bandipora, 3 each from Samba, Ramban and Pulwama districts, 2 each from Udhampur, Kishtwar and Anantnag district while 1 case each was detected in Rajouri, Doda, Poonch and Reasi districts.
Reports said that a total of 3005 COVID tests were conducted in the Union Territory in last 24 hours. The number of active COVID cases in the UT as on date is 30, 998 in Jammu Division and 211 in Kashmir region whereas 24 COVID patients recovered today, 1 from Jammu Division and 23 from Kashmir valley.
The number of active cases in Srinagar district is 77, followed by 62 in Jammu, 30 in Kulgam, 27 in Budgam, 24 in Baramulla, 15 in Ganderbal, 12 in Pulwama, 10 in Kupwara, 8 each in Bandipora and Samba, 7 each in Anantnag and Ramban, 4 each in Udhampur, Poonch and Reasi districts, 3 each in Doda and Kathua, 2 in Kishtwar while 1 case each is in Shopian and Rajouri districts.
