Army jawans donate blood for civilians in Rajouri Hospital

Army jawan donating blood for civilians in Rajouri on Wednesday.

JAMMU, Nov 20: Army jawans of  898 80 Battalion ASC, Rajouri, donated blood for the needy civilian patients in emergency of District Hospital Rajouri.
The blood was donated on  request of Medical Superintendent District Hospital Rajouri Dr Arun Sharma to Col Dinesh Luthra of 898 80 Battalion ASC, Rajouri, that there were 3 patients in the hospital who required blood on emergency.
The team from blood bank District Hospital Rajouri including Pathologist Dr Varinder Mohan Rana, and  blood bank technician Anwar Hussain, went to 898 80 Battalion ASC, Rajouri for collection of blood. The enthusiasm of jawans was so high that  many volunteered to donate blood hence more personnel from blood bank District Hospital Rajouri were called for collection of blood. Total of 15 units of blood was collected.
Medical Superintendent  Dr Arun Sharma personally appreciated the jawans and gave certificates to the voluntary donators.
