JAMMU, Apr 8: Col (retd) Maharaj Krishen Zarabi father of Siddharth Zarabi, Managing Editor of Business Today TV, India Today Group breathed his last at New Delhi after a brief illness late last night. He was 79.
He is survived by his wife and three sons including Siddharth, Sudhir and Rahul.
M K Zarabi was the son of late Pandit Janki Nath Zarabi of Gurgari Mohalla, Ali Kadal, Srinagar.
Qualified as a Dental Surgeon at Mumbai, Maharashtra, he joined the J&K Government Medical Service and served at Shopian District Hospital before deciding to join the Army to serve the nation.
After his retirement he remained actively involved in social service as well.
His cremation will take place at New Delhi tomorrow.
