JAMMU, Apr 8: A 70-year-old man died while another sustained injuries in a road accident here at Domana area on Saturday.
Police said that Ram Singh (70) son of late Gareeb Dass of Manyal Brahamana was hit by a motorcycle outside his home at around 9:30 pm today, resulting in injuries to the septuagenarian man and one other person, identified as Nikhil (14) son of Raj Kumar of Chak Jaagar, Marh.
They were shifted to Government Medical College Jammu where Ram Singh was declared as dead on arrival while the other injured is undergoing treatment.
Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the law at Police Station Domana and taken up further investigation.
