REASI, Apr 9: A teen aged female staffer of a prominent hotel in Katra town was found hanging under mysterious circumstances at staff quarter of the hotel, here today.
The deceased was identified as Ranjna Devi, age around 18 years, daughter of Basant Lal, resident of Bari Ramnagar, district Udhampur. She was found hanging from ceiling fan in staff quarter of White Hotel, late this morning.
On getting the information, a Police team from Katra Police Station rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to hospital for postmortem and other legal formalities.
According to Police, the girl was working as house-keeping employee in the hotel for the last few months. A case has been registered in this regard and investigation is going on, said SHO Katra, Nishant Gupta.
