UDHAMPUR, Apr 10: Senior journalist Ravi Singh was unanimously elected as Chairman of the Udhampur Field Journalists Association (UFJA) here today.
A spokesperson of the association said that elections to elect the new body were held in a cordial atmosphere where Surinder Sharma was elected as President, Vikram Jeet Singh Panchi as Vice-Chairman, Navesh Sharma as Vice-President, Akash Verma as General Secretary, Arun Jasrotia as Secretary and Naresh Kundal as Cashier.
“The newly constituted body will take up all the issues confronting the field journalists of the district and ensure all media ethics are adhered to,” the spokesperson further said.
