JAMMU, Apr 10: A total of 50 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported today in Jammu and Kashmir, 32 from Jammu Division and 18 from Kashmir Division.
According to the reports, highest number of 20 cases were reported from Jammu district, followed by 9 from Pulwama, 7 from Samba, 6 from Srinagar, 2 each from Doda, Reasi and Kupwara, and 1 each from Poonch and Baramulla districts.
As per reports, a total of 2,391 COVID tests were conducted in the Union Territory in last 24 hours. The number of active COVID cases in the UT as on date is 426…. 158 in Jammu Division and 268 in Kashmir valley whereas 16 COVID patients (all from Jammu Division) recovered today.
The highest number of 93 active cases are in Jammu district, followed by 72 in Srinagar, 38 in Budgam, 35 in Pulwama, 34 in Kulgam, 33 in Baramulla, 20 in Samba, 17 in Bandipora, 15 in Ganderbal, 12 in Kupwara, 11 each in Anantnag and Ramban districts, 10 in Kupwara, 9 in Udhampur, 6 each in Poonch and Reasi districts, 5 in Doda, 3 each in Kathua and Kishtwar while 2 cases are in Rajouri and 1 in Shopian district.
