JAMMU, Apr 10: The Government today placed four Deputy Superintendents of Police (Selection Grade) as Incharge Superintendents of Police (SPs) in their own pay and grade.
As per an order, the police officers who have been placed as SPs are Sajad Ahmad Sheikh, Vishal Manhas, Vinod Kumar, and Ajay Sharma.
The order further said that the arrangement of the officers is purely on stop-gap basis and shall not confer on them any right to claim preferential treatment for their promotion, as and when, the same is made, in accordance with the rules.
