JAMMU, Nov 21: Zila Sainik Welfare Office (ZSWO) held a meeting under the chairmanship of Assistant Secretary Ramesh Chander at Akhnoor and listened to the problems being faced by ex-servicemen, widows, war widows and their dependents.
While addressing, Chander spoke regarding the revised schemes/welfare measures being extended by Central and State Governments.
Latest policy/recruitment letters received from Army headquarters/other agencies were informed to the gathering. Financial assistant on account of demise grant/penury/OTI was also distributed to the eligible ex-servicemen/widows.
All other general queries of ESM/widows were clarified on the spot.
