POONCH, Nov 21: A 6-month old child was killed while his father seriously injured after they were hit by a Tata Mobile vehicle near Slamabad in Poonch today.
The mishap took place when the Mohd Rafiq resident of Loran Mandi was going to the Ziarat of Sain Meera. He had lifted his 6 month old male child. A vehicle No. JK-12/5738 hit him from the back and they were thrown away. While child was killed on the spot, injured Rafiq was rushed to Poonch hospital. The driver Abdul Majid managed to escape from the spot. Police has registered a case in this connection.
