BJP regime destroyed J&K in various spheres: Manohar

KATHUA, Apr 12: Former minister Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today said that BJP regime has badly destroyed the Jammu and Kashmir in every sphere.
During series of public meetings at villages Mela, Gurah kalyal, Kough, Dewal, Malti, Kote, Katni, Dharalta, Dungara, Kishanpur-Dungara, Pathyal-Didwara, Thanthu, Ramkote, Reyan, Aglidher and Tharakalwal in Billawar constituency Manohar Lal met various deputations and listened their problems.
After taking feedback from the villagers of these areas, former minister alleged that BJP Govt ignored remote and backward areas of Billawar constituency on all fronts. The people strongly resented reduction in their RBA quota in Govt service from 20% to 10%. No new projects of roads to connect far-flung areas like have been formulated. Many villages lack link roads.
There are poor healthcare services in all areas including SDH, Billawar, lack of teaching staff in almost in all area of these Tehsils, Govt is facilitating mining loot and torturing local Trolley owners. Unemployment is all time high now and Govt has no road map to deal this serious problem. Govt is also working day and night to retire Numberdars, Chokidars, ICDS workers and helpers without giving single penny to them.
Manohar demanded special employment package for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that it is the duty of the government to address the unemployment issue immediately. He lambasted BJP government for exploiting daily wagers in various departments for not fulfilling their long time pending genuine demands. He said due to callous and non-serious attitude of governments families of daily wagers across J&K are facing a starvation-like situation.
He said that people are now fed up of the BJP led dictatorial regime. Common man was suffering in the hands of the administration which has adopted an adamant behaviour and is working on the lines which is completely anti- public. He also highlighted issue of various roads of the constituency which are in dilapidated condition and urged upon the administration of the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, to pay urgent attention as public is suffering badly.
