JAMMU, Apr 12: A drug peddler was arrested from Domana area of the district here today and 12 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession.
A Police spokesperson said that a team of Police Post Chinnore led by SDPO Domana, Vishal Shoor, assisted by SHO Domana, Inspector Kunal Singh Jamwal and incharge Police Post Chinnore Rajesh Kumar, while on naka duty rounded up a suspect who was coming from Kheri towards Bantallab.
“During search of the suspect identified as Deepak Khajuria of Udhampur at present Bantallab Jammu, 12 grams of heroin was recovered,” he said.
Police have booked the accused under relevant sections of the law and taken up further investigation.
