JAMMU, Apr 13: Police in Jammu’s Gandhi Nagar area claimed today that they have recovered 28 grams of heroin and Rs 21650 cash from three drug peddlers who have been arrested.
A police spokesperson said that a team of Police Station Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, led by SDPO concerned, Sachit Sharma, assisted by SHO Gandhi Nagar, Inspector Pankaj Sharma, during patrolling duty, rounded up three suspects who were in a Creta Car.
During search of their vehicle, he said, 28 grams of heroin and a cash of Rs 21650 was recovered from their possession.
Police have arrested the accused identified as Rashpal Singh of Gadigarh Jammu, Satvir Singh of RS Pura, Jammu, and Deepak Bhagat of Talab Tillo, Jammu and booked them in case FIR number 84/2023 under sections 8/21/22/25/29 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, and have taken up further investigation.
