10 pilgrims injured in Katra accident

KATRA, Apr 13: At least 10 pilgrims of Mata Vaishno Devi were injured when a bus carrying them rolled down at Nomain near Katra, here today.
The injured were rushed to Community Health Centre Katra where one of them was referred to GMC Hospital Jammu for advanced treatment.
The accident took place around 7 pm when the passenger bus, bearing registration number HR38Y- 0111, which was going from Katra towards Delhi, skidded off the road and turned turtle while negotiating a curve.
Out of the 10 injured, eight are from Hathras in Uttar Pradesh and one each from Delhi and Bihar. They were identified as Ajay Sharma (28), son of Ram Manohar, resident of Hathras, his wife Bhumi Sharma (23), Deepak Koushik (32), son of Manohar Koushik of Hathras (referred to GMC Jammu), Dheeraj Mishra (27), son of Ashok Mishra of Hathras, Vansh (11), son of Amit of Hathras, Anita Singh (28), wife of Vinod of Hathras, Salesh Pathak (30), son of Parmod Pathak of Delhi, Atul Choudhary (30), son of Daleep Choudhary of Bihar, Anu (30), wife of Deepak of Hathras and Ritu (35), wife of Amit of Hathras.
