JAMMU, Apr 14: A deputation of Kashmiri migrants led by Ramesh Chander Mahajan, president, Kashmiri Hindu Maha Sabha (KHMS) called on P K Pole, Chief Electoral Officer and submitted a memorandum of demands to him.
The delegation demanded establishment of special election camp offices with dealing assistants / officers in the migrant zonal relief office at Jammu, Delhi, Udhampur and transit camp of Kashmir Valley and making hard copies of electoral rolls available there.
The delegation also demanded installation of Epic Print out machines at Election Office for Migrants at Jammu for issuance of Epic cards besides issuance of coloured epic cards to all migrants without delay.
Further it demanded extension of date for online websites and physical offline mode enrolment at various migrant zonal offices at Jammu, Udhampur and Delhi as well as for general public of J&K UT.
