Anjuman-e-Imamia observes International Al-Qudds Day

JAMMU, Apr 14: On the last Friday of Ramzaanul Muabarak today, a peaceful protest to show the solidarity with the oppressed Palestinians by Anjuman-e-Imamia Jammu was held here. After the Friday prayers all the protestors raised slogans against the attrocities of Israel forces.
Al Qudds Day was declared by Imam Khomeini in 1978 and from that day it was observed by all the Muslims over the globe to show sympathy and solidarity with Palestinians. The motive is to raise the voice against the oppressor.
Maulana Syed Ali Badshah Naqvi Imam Jumma while addressing the media said that every person who thought that he should stand against the oppressor must joins this protest.
He further added that all over the globe today our brothers are out on streets to show their solidarity with the Palestinians.
President Anjuman Syed Amanat Ali Shah in his address said we are the followers of Karbala and to stand against oppressor is our duty. He further added that everyone should stand against the illegal occupation of Jerusalem by Zionist forces of Israel.
He further said this is a protest not mandatory for Muslims but anyone who feels has to raise his voice against the oppressors can join the protest.
Prof. Sujat Khan, secretary said this is a chance for people to unite around the world in order to combat the violent extremism of the Zionist ideology. The Zionist apartheid regime believes that it can get away with attacks that would be unacceptable in most other countries. They do not even stop during Ramadan, if anything they often escalate their attacks during this time.
Syed Afaq Hussain Kazmi vice president said this protest is to mark the presence that our Anjuman-e-Imamia has shown its solidarity with the Palestinian and it’s our duty to obey the Rehbar -e- Moazam Syed Ali Khameni.
