JAMMU, Apr 15: Jammu Police has seized 10 vehicles involved in illegal mining from different parts of the district.
According to a police spokesman, a tipper bearing registration number JK02CU-5863 was seized by Police Station Nagrota and one dumper bearing registration number JK02CR-7055 was seized by Police Station Bishnah.
He said one tractor trolley each without registration number was seized by Police Station Arnia and Police Post Sainik Colony while one tractor trolley bearing registration number JK02CS-3802 was seized by Police Station Janipur and one tractor bearing chasis number MBNAU53ADKCB2278 was seized by Police Post Talab Tillo.
“Four tractor trolleys, two bearing chasis numbers KZIDT691831S3 and MBNALALTBKRH00604, one bearing registration number JK02DA-8825 and other bearing engine number RKD2MDA1560, were also seized by Border police Post Gajansoo,” the spokesman said.
The DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same, he added.
