JAMMU, Apr 15: A delegation of Chowadi area here today met Deputy Mayor, Baldev Singh Billawaria and requested him to take necessary steps for the development of a temple in their area.
The delegation also demanded construction of a community hall in Chowadi and said that locals of the area have donated land for the same.
Billawaria lauded the people for donating land for the community hall and said that construction of the community hall would benefit the public.
He expressed hope that the project will further help in developing the region.
Regarding water shortage, the delegation said that during the summer season, the area faces severe water crisis.
The Deputy Mayor instructed the officials of the concerned departments in this regard and asked them to take necessary steps to solve the problems of the general public of the area.
Ranjit Singh, Vikram Singh, Dinesh Pal, Amit Sharma, Nitesh Sharma, Avneet Sharma, Mukesh Chowdhary, Raju Badgotra and others were present in the delegation.
