104 new COVID cases in J&K

JAMMU, Apr 16: A total of 104 fresh COVID-19 positive cases were reported today from Jammu and Kashmir, 45 from Jammu division and 59 from Kashmir valley.
The highest number of 29 cases was reported from Jammu district, followed by 13 each from Anantnag, Srinagar and Kupwara, 6 each from Udhampur and Budgam, 5 each from Kishtwar and Ganderbal, 4 from Bandipora, 3 from Baramulla, 2 each from Doda, Kathua and Kulgam and 1 from Ramban district.
As per reports, a total of 3,251 COVID tests were conducted in the Union Territory in last 24 hours. The number of active COVID cases in the UT as on date is 757, 350 in Jammu division and 407 in Kashmir region whereas 63 COVID patients recovered today, 22 from Jammu division and 41 from Kashmir valley.
The highest number of 227 active cases is in Jammu district, followed by 90 in Srinagar, 58 in Baramulla, 48 each in Kulgam and Budgam, 39 in Anantnag, 33 in Kupwara, 32 in Kishtwar, 29 in Ganderbal, 28 each in Pulwama and Bandipora, 25 in Udhampur, 19 in Doda, 14 in Samba, 9 in Rajouri, 7 in Reasi, 6 each in Shopian, Kathua and Ramban, and 5 in Poonch district.
