Prominent doctors, CAs, lawyers join BJP

JAMMU, Apr 17: Prominent professional personalities including doctors, CAs, and lawyers joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in presence of senior party functionaries at party Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here, today.
J&K BJP president, Ravinder Raina accompanied by former Dy CM, Dr. Nirmal Singh, former Dy CM, Kavinder Gupta, All Cell convenor, Rakesh Mahajan, co convenor, Ved Parkash, president office, in charge, Ajay Pargal, convenor, BJP Professional Cell, SK Sharma, co convenors, Ramit Khurana and CA Amit Gupta welcomed new entrants into the party fold as members of BJP Professional Cell.
Dr Brij Mohan Gupta (Retd Principal GMC, Rajouri), Dr Sunita Puri, Ritika Mahajan, Anu Talwar, Anila Charak, CA Anish Abrol, CA Jatin Malhotra, Nikhil Mahajan, CA Aditya Suri, Amit Gupta and Ish Mahajan both advocates were amongst the prominent to join the party in presence of its senior leaders.
Ravinder Raina, welcoming the new entrants reposed his trust and faith in them that their presence in the party will bring new energy and enthusiasm in the Cell and the party. He said that the new entrants have contributed to the society as resource persons. He said that these prominent personalities have trust that the BJP is the only right platform to serve the society selflessly. He cited examples of dedicated working by party workers in Covid times, Jana Dhan account, development of new state of the art road networks from Jammu to Kashmir and the benefits to the needy. He also wished them the best in their political endeavor working with the theme of “nation first”.
Dr. Nirmal Singh said that people from all walks of life are joining the party. He termed the professionals as the backbone of the society. He said that these professional people would surely work as the disciplined workforce for the welfare of the society.
Kavinder Gupta said that BJP has changed the narrative of politics in India, which has led to the development of faith of intellectuals and well-educated persons of the society in the political system and Modi Government.
Rakesh Mahajan reposed his faith in the dedicated working of the newly joined. Ved Sharma conducted the proceedings.
Later, senior party leaders also conducted a meeting of the new entrants apprising them of the policies and principles of the party. They were apprised of their duties as the members of the BJP and particularly of the Cell, they have joined.
