Juhi for meeting teaching staff shortage in far flung areas

UDHAMPUR, Apr 17: District Development Council, Vice Chairperson, Juhi Pathania today met scores of public delegations in her office  and listened to their grievances.
While interacting with a battery of deputations drawn from various parts of Ramnagar, Udhampur, Pancheri and Moungri, she called for making good staff requirements in the schools of Udhampur district.
Same way the paucity of staff was an issue in HS Chigla Blata, HS Nagulta, HS Dudu, HS G.S.Banj, HS Ressian, HS Jandrore, HS Barta, HS Deot. She also took up the issue of hanging schools with the Administrative Secretary to regularise them at the earliest so that people and students do not face unnecessary hassles.
Shambu Dutt, Sarpanch Panchayat Rassain was leading a delegation demanding bus service to Rassian.
She took up the issue with ARTO Udhampur for bus services particularly to Russian, Chigla Blota and other far flung areas. She also called for SRTC service from Jammu to Babey, to Joffer and to various far flung pockets of Moungri and Pancheri in District Udhampur.
Another delegation projected a variety of  issues  including provision of drinking water, electricity supply, road connectivity. The delegations had detailed discussions with the Vice Chairperson regarding key developmental issues pertaining to their areas.
Among various issues called upon was the demand for road connectivity from Jagote to High School Balta via Mazoom to be enlisted on priority under NABARD.
The people also projected issues regarding scarcity of drinking water and demanded speeding up of JJM schemes, especially WSS Sullan, WSS Dalsar, WSS Tikri. She also called upon the Department of PHE to avoid paucity of drinking water in view of scorching heat. She called for water- tanker services in each and every Tehsil particularly in Majalta and Khoon areas because these are dry areas and people face acute water shortage during summers. She also took up the matter of water shortage in Tikri and Mand areas with the department.
Pathania also took note of various ongoing developmental projects in the Talpar and Barta area and directed the concerned departments for promptness in delivery of essential services and time bound completion of developmental projects ensuring the quality of works for the early benefits of people of the area.
