JAMMU, Apr 17: Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur today held a live demonstration on Disaster Management for staff and trainees of an ongoing course.
The event was organized with the aim of improving preparedness and response during natural calamities, accidents, and other untoward incidents. A team of officers and technical experts from SDRF delivered a lecture and demonstrated various rescue operations using sophisticated rescue machines and instruments.
Shiv Kumar, Principal PTTI Vijaypur, spoke on the occasion and expressed his gratitude to the higher authorities of SDRF for deputing their team for the demonstration.
He highlighted that the techniques demonstrated by the SDRF team would help police personnel in performing their field duties more effectively.
Several officers, including Kuldeep Raj, DySP (Indoor/Tech.), Davinder Gupta, DySP (R&D), Inspector Vivek Kalsotra, Inspector Bhopinder Singh, Inspector Mulkh Raj, Inspector Ram Lal, Inspector Javed Hussain, Inspector Anil Kumar, Inspector Vishal Kumar, Inspector Tariq Mehmood, and Inspector Kanwal Raina, were present on the occasion.
