RAJOURI, Apr 17: The police seized four vehicles loaded with eight bovine animals and arrested two persons in this connection in Rajouri area today.
Official sourfces said that during checking at a naka the team led by SHO Rajouri, Inspector Shoket Hussain intercepted four Tata Mobile vehicles bearing registration Nos. JK11D- 8193, JK11F – 1708, JK11E-0551 and JK11 – 9283 which were on way towards Poonch. During checking these vehicles were found loaded with 08 bovine animals without permission.
In this regard case FIR Nos 176/2023, 177/2023 , 178/2023 and 179/2023 u/S 188 IPC 11 PCA Act got registered. Bovine animals were rescued and vehicles seized and two accused arrested. They were identified as Shakoor Hussain, son of Babu Hussain from Raiki Bain, Mohd Arif, son of Farman Ali from Badhoon in Rajouri. Two others escaped from the spot.
