JAMMU, Apr 17: One person was arrested with a sharp-edged weapon from Bishnah area here today, police said.
They said Rashpaul @Sethi, who was coming from Ratnal side and going towards Bari Brahamana, was arrested with the weapon (Toka) at Chak Murar, Bishnah.
The accused has been booked in case FIR number 93/2023 under Section 4/25 of the Arms Act registered at Police Station Bishnah and further investigation taken up, police said.
Pertinently, the arrest and seizure was made by a team of Bishnah Police Station led by SDPO RS Pura, Nikhil Gogna, assisted by SHO concerned Inspector Vikram Sharma under the overall supervision of SP Headquarters, Ramnish Gupta.
