RAMBAN, Apr 18: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ramban has taken a strict note of a video that was circulated on social media in which one Narinder Singh was yesterday showing absence of teachers at Government Primary School, Hunga, Education Zone Ukhral.
The DC ordered withholding the salary of ZEO Ukhral and wrote to the Chief Education Officer (CEO), Ramban in this regard and mentioned that the video was shot with background commentary and it also showed classrooms locked and children playing in the open.
DC Ramban has taken a strict note of the absence of teachers from the school in the video and has directed the CEO Ramban to conduct an enquiry into the incident with immediate effect and submit a detailed report within seven days positively.
“Your probe must also focus on how an outsider was able to enter into the premises of the Government School and shoot a video which also raises concern about the safety of the school students,” the DC maintained in letter to the CEO.
