RAJOURI, Apr 18: The Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal has placed Khilafwarzi Inspector of Municipal Committee, Nowshera under suspension.
Official sources said that action has been taken by the District Administration Rajouri against the Khilafwarzi Inspector, Khalil Ahmed posted in Municipal Committee Office Nowshera, for remaining unauthorisedly absent from duty since last three months.
Referring to the letter of the Executive Officer, MC Nowshera, the official said the Inspector was served several notices and also conveyed telephonically to resume his duty but he was not responding. It was reported that said Khilafwarzi Inspector was working as cashier with the Accounts Officer, MC Rajouri. Another complaint was received against him that he had demanded bribe from a contractor for drawal of bills.
In view of the above, the said Khilafwarzi Inspector, Khalil Ahmed has been placed under suspension, pending inquiry. He has been attached with the office of Additional Deputy Commissioner Nowshera. The ADC Nowshera will hold inquiry and submit report within 15 days to the DC Rajouri, the official said.
