JAMMU, Apr 18: At least five vehicles have been seized for mining illegally in Jammu District, Police said today.
They said four vehicles were seized by a team of Police Station Gharota led by SHO concerned, Inspector Joginder Singh while as one dumper was seized by a team of Police Post Chattha led by incharge Police Post, PSI Harjinder Paul Singh.
“The vehicles seized were mining in violation of a High Court order,” police said, adding that DMO Jammu has been informed about the recoveries made.
