MSJK activists stage protest

JAMMU, Apr 18: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today staged a protest demonstration and expressed resentment against the J&K Government for collecting more electricity revenue from Jammu region as compared to that collected from Kashmir.
The protest was led by MSJK leader, Sunil Dimple who demanded royalty for the electricity produced by J&K power projects and supplied to other States.
The protesters also burnt the copies of electricity bills.
Addressing the protesters, Dimple said that PM Modi should return Salal and Uri Hydel Power Projects to J&K and provide free electricity to J&K people.
Swarn Singh, Vijay Virdi, Arun Verma and others were also present in the protest.
