56 test COVID positive in J&K

JAMMU, Apr 19: A total of 56 fresh COVID-19 positive cases were reported today from Jammu and Kashmir, 19 from Jammu Division and 37 from Kashmir Division.
The highest number of 14 cases was reported from Jammu district, followed by 9 from Budgam, 6 each from Baramulla and Anantnag, 5 from Kupwara, 4 from Bandipora, 3 from Pulwama, 2 each from Srinagar, Kulgam, Udhampur and Doda, and 1 from Rajouri district.
As per reports, a total of 2,967 COVID tests were conducted in the Union Territory in last 24 hours. The number of active COVID cases in the UT as on date is 639, 274 in Jammu Division and 365 in Kashmir Division whereas 140 COVID patients recovered today, 90 from Jammu Division and 50 from Kashmir Division.
The highest number of 198 active cases is in Jammu district, followed by 73 in Srinagar, 56 in Baramulla, 53 in Budgam, 42 in Anantnag, 32 in Kulgam, 30 in Pulwama, 28 in Kupwara, 22 in Ganderbal, 21 in Bandipora, 20 in Doda, 17 in Udhampur, 9 in Ramban, 8 in Shopian, 7 each in Rajouri and Kathua, 5 in Kishtwar, 4 each in Samba and Reasi districts, and 3 in Poonch.
