JAMMU, Apr 21: Municipal & Urban Local Bodies Pensioners Association (Jammu Province), has demanded enhancement in the Medical Allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month and release of DA installment in favour of employees and pensioners in J&K UT.
In a meeting of the Association held here today under the chairmanship of BS Jamwal, the members expressed strong resentment over the delay being caused in according hike in the Medical Allowance as per UT norms and non-release of 4 % DA installment due from January 2023 in favour of employees and pensioners of Jammu and Kashmir. They pointed out that LG Ladakh has already released DA in favour of its employees and pensioners. They sought intervention of LG Manoj Sinha into the matter.
