Two killed in road accidents

JAMMU, Apr 23: At least two persons died in separate road accidents in Jammu Province, officials said today.
They said one Aahil (5) son of Mohammad Hussain of Husplote, Chrungh, Thannamandi, sustained injuries on April 21 after he was hit by a TaTa Sumo at Thannamandi area.
He was rushed to Government Medical College Jammu where he breathed his last today, officials said.
In another accident at Bari Brahamana area of Samba District on April 21, they said, one Sagar Balotra (22) son of Darshan Lal of Digiana, Rani Tallab, Jammu, was injured after the motorcycle he was riding on was hit by a truck.
“He went LAMA (Leave Against Medical Advice) to DMC Ludhiana where he died today,” officials further said.
Police have shifted the bodies of the deceased to the mortuary of the Government Medical College Jammu for conducting the post-mortem while cases under relevant sections of the law stand registered at concerned police station and further investigations taken up.
