RAMNAGAR, Nov 24: A seven-year old girl died after a boulder hit her during a roadside work at Balsar, here this morning.
The deceased was identified as Sonika Devi, daughter of Sham Lal of Majouri. She had gone to the house of her maternal uncle at Balsar where the mishap took place. A boulder hit her when a JCB was on digging work by PWD for drainage on the roadside.
The minor girl reportedly died on the spot while police arrested driver of the JCB.
