DHSK reviews healthcare arrangements for G20 Summit

SRINAGAR, Apr 24: The Director of Health Services Kashmir, Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather today reviewed the healthcare arrangements being made for the upcoming G20 Summit in presence of all the Nodal Officers of various schemes and officers entrusted with G20 Summit events.
The Director reviewed the ongoing work for infrastructure upgradation at various places like SDM Magam, SDG Tangmarg, and PHC Gulmarg.
These hospitals on the highway are being upgraded and beautified, equipped with state-of-the-art sanitation facilities, the latest medical equipment, and medicines, the Spokesperson said.
The Health Department is making full-proof arrangements to ensure all medical facilities are available for the G20 Summit meeting.
On the occasion, the Director urged all officers to work expeditiously to complete the arrangements on time. Routine upgradation is also planned for all hospitals.
The meeting discussed various aspects of ensuring prompt and timely medical care at the meeting sites and earmarking facilities in case of any medical adversity.
The Director directed all officers and officials to be deputed for the G20 Summit to be trained in BLS and ALS, for which training is ongoing at the Regional Institute of Health & Family Welfare (RIFW), Dhobiwan, and other hospitals as well.
