PHQ orders promotion of 29 N-G officers

JAMMU, Apr 24: The Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters has promoted 29 Non-Gazetted (N-G) officers of Ministerial/Steno Executive Cadre.
This includes 20 Sub-Inspectors of the Ministerial Executive Cadre, 7 Ministerial Executive Cadre (Steno) to the rank of Inspectors, and 2 Assistant Sub-Inspectors Ministerial Executive Cadre to the rank of Sub Inspector.
The promotions were made after a thorough scrutiny of the service records by the Departmental Promotion Committee meeting, chaired by the Director General of Police J&K, Dilbag Singh.
The DGP congratulated the officers and expressed hope that the promotion would boost their morale and inspire them to work with more dedication for the betterment of the department and the people of J&K.
