SAMBA, Apr 24: Apni Party’s Provincial President, S Manjit Singh, stated today that empowering women has always remained the priority for his party in Jammu and Kashmir.
Singh was speaking at a women’s wing meeting organized by the Provincial President of the women’s wing Jammu, Pavneet Kour, and Shivani Koul, at Kartholi village.
He said that the Apni Party is committed to empowering women in J&K socially, politically, and educationally.
The former Minister also said that if voted to power, his party will increase widow and old-age pensions from Rs 1000 to Rs 5000, and will provide four cooking gas cylinders annually under the Ujjawala scheme.
