RAMBAN, Apr 24: Police here today arrested a liquor smuggler and recovered 26 bottles illicit liquor from him.
As per police sources, Inspector Manoj Sharma, SHO Police Station Dharamkund along with cops during patrolling arrested one Romal Singh, son of Mast Ram, resident of Thalwa Harrog, Ramban and recovered 26 bottles of JK Special Whiskey of 750 ml each from him.
An FIR with number 17/2023 U/S 48(a) Excise Act was registered at Police Station Dharamkund in this regard and investigation was entrusted to PSI Kanwaljit Singh.
The recovery was made under the supervision of Nihar Ranjan, SDPO Gool with overall supervision of SSP Ramban, Mohita Sharma.
