JAMMU, Apr 26: The Navdal Tirath Committee and The Temples & Shrines Prabandhak Committee (TSPC) Tral, Awantipora has made an appeal to Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha who is also Chairman of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) to nominate at least two members of the KP community to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) and involve at least three members in the Pratham Pooja as well as daily pooja at holy shrine orgnised by SASB as Navdal Tirath is linked to holy Amarnath yatra from times immemorial and the place is known as Patali Ganga.
The president, TSPC Tral -Awantipora, Dr Ramesh Bhat and Sanjay Raina in charge Navdal Committee said that Navdal is the culmination place of holy Amarnath Yatra since Puranic period and its references lie in Amreshwar Mahatmaya , Bringesh Pramatha and Bringesh Samhita. They said Nawdal is where nine Dwards (doors) are filled during one’s life time that means spiritual ecstatic upliftment of highest order.
They said but up to this time even after giving religious and spiritual evidence the Board has not taken a cognizance to the same and restoring the pristine glory of this holy shrine. They regretted that the Kashmiri Pandits being associated with the holy yatra and being the worshipers of Lord Shiva and Goddess Shakti are being kept away from the holy Amarnath shrine.
They demanded that two members of the KP community be inducted in SASB and two to three KP Pujaris be included in the daily Pooja at holy shrine of Swami Amarnath Ji. Besides, the unemployed youth of the community be also made entitled to have shops yatra routes from both Baltal and Pahalgam tracks.
They also demanded that services of archeologists, geologists, hydrologists and scientists be utilized for rediscovering the remaining springs that existed in the area before the onset of disturbances.
Meanwhile, to take stock of the construction of Yag Shalla, meditation centre etc at Navdal, plan was finalized and area was cleared for the same. Deepak Razdan was appointed as Project Manager for civil works to be executed at the Tirath Sathal.
