Programme ‘Evergreen Kishore’ organised

JAMMU, Apr 27: The rich melodious voice of Sunil Sharma, popularly known as J&K’s Kishore Kumar, held the audience spellbound at a function held here today to pay tribute to the legendary singer, music director, actor, filmmaker and screenwriter Kishore Kumar.
“Kishore Kumar is not physically present in this world but his voice is still in dominance and has the same impact on masses that it had decades ago,” said Kiran Wattal, who presided over the function.
The programme ‘Evergreen Kishore’ started with Sunil singing ‘Musafir Hoon Yaro’ and other hit songs of Kishore Kumar.
Vishakha and Vanshika joined him on the stage.
The function was organised by RD & Kishore Fan Club.
J&K BJP president, Ravinder Raina was chief guest on the occasion while vice-president Yudhvir Sethi, ex-minister Priya Sethi, Pradeep Dutta from Times Now and Rohit Sharma were guests of honour.
Amar Singh Club secretary, Anil Kapahi; Hotel Asia’s Managing Director, R.D Anand; Rohit Gupta, Karan Puri, Ajay Kohli, Prem Sharma (general secretary of Jammu Chemist & Druggist Association), budding entrepreneur Shiva Wattal, Nabhya Saraf, Rajeev Gupta (actor) & Aryan Sharma were special invitees.
On this occasion Bharat Bhushan, Surjeet Singh, Rahul Khatri, Naresh Kumar Choudhary, Amar Chouhan, Urja Singh, Sehaj Pal Singh, Rahul Bhardwaj, S Kumar, Sanjay Pashi, Darshan Taroch, Rajat Nakalia, Ankush Balgotra, Ridham Chattwal, Rakesh Malhotra, Rahul Bhardwaj, Rakesh Anand, Anshika Jaral, Vishakha Bhardwaj and Bindiya Tikoo were awarded.
