JAMMU, Apr 27: Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) chairman today appointed new office bearers for Kashmir and Jammu province units besides, state, district and block level party functionaries.
Mohd Altaf Dhar, former SMC Corporator has been appointed as vice president of PDAP Kashmir Province Committee, Shafiq Shabnam as general secretary while Arif Maqbool as secretary for Kashmir Province.
Sobat Ali, Corporator has been inducted as general secretary for Jammu Province Committee of DPAP, Rajinder Singh Manhas as secretary while Lala Devi Lal from Marh as Member Working Committee for Jammu Province. Heena Bhatti from Chowadi, has been inducted as secretary of DPAP, Provincial Women wing of the party for Jammu.
Anita Thakur, who recently rejoined from NPP and joined DPAP, has been appointed as general secretary of the State Committee of DPAP.
Mohinder Kumar Sharma from Jagti, Nagrota has been appointed as senior vice president of DPAP Jammu Rural North District Committee while Saima Jan as president of Kashmir Province Women Wing of the DPAP.
Meanwhile, Azad also appointed new office bearers for Block Committees of Bhagwah, Changa, Doda, and Chilli blocks of district Doda. Ranjit Singh is new block president for Bhagwah, Mohd Yasin Khan for block Changa, Ch Sher Mohd for block Chilli. He also inducted five new vice presidents, seven general secretaries and six new secretaries for block Doda. The president has already been appointed for Doda block.
