Mata Baglamukhi idol installed at temple

SAMBA, Apr 28: Amid religious fanfare and rituals, idol of Mata Baglamukhi was installed at the temple in Maa Kamkhyaa Aashram in Khara near Purmandal, here today.
This is the first ever temple of Mata Baglamukhi in Jammu and Kashmir. A large number of devotees from various parts of Jammu and several prominent politicians, social and religious heads took part in the idol installation ceremony, which was followed by a grand Bhandara on the occasion.
Led by Swami Rakeshanand, the idol installation ceremony took place amid all the religious rituals and Ram Katha, which continued for the ten days and culminated today with a grand Havan and Pooja.
Prominent among those, who actively took part in the religious functions and idol installation event, included Jammu Kashmir Sanatan Dharma Sabha president Parshotam Dadhichi, former ministers Sat Sharma, Surjit Singh Slathia, Jugal Kishore, Chander Parkash Ganga, D K Manyal, Ex MLC Vikram Randhawa, Arun Sharma, BDC Chairman Yogeshwar Singh, Narinder Singh Bhau, Sham Singh, Ravinder Jamwal, Rajesh Pargotra, Subash Chander, Tarsem Sharma and others.
